Works fine on other 4K boxes so must be fixable. So looks like this is something Vu+ will need to release a driver update for. Surprised this was not tested before release.Hi great box but mine refuses to play sound on a video with AAC - ac3 works fine. I m using Open ATV 6.2 /6.3 . Shop says needs driver fix anyone with similar poblems or a fix
Although there has been nothing official from vu+ i believe this is true, something i heard is the chip being no longer available with covid-19 being the main reason.hello everyone i have been trying to get a duo 4k to replace my duo 2 but have been told it has been discontinued, however a shop in Spain has told me there will be a new duo 4k se in about 5 weeks ,does anyone know if this is correct thanks carmine
Late November/ Early December im guessing.thanks Ten Below for your help i think it may be worth waiting a while for this receiver
Looks pretty much the same spec to me. Perhaps it has a decent remote that will last longer than previous one.Is this better than the first? Vu Duo4k ???
I imagine software updates will continue just as they have for the other discontinued 4k models. So, do I own a museum piece? Is the Duo4K rare and now highly valued? Or, more likely, will there be no further software development for the original Duo4K making it obsolete. After having a Solo2 for about 6 years I swapped it out for my Duo4K only 10 months ago. Beginning to regret it now.
I have this box & it is massive. Sizing was really not well thought out when they designed it. I'd sell if it were mine.if you need a new box now buy ultimo 4K.Only 25 pound more and much better.openvix still supports updates for "old" box
